Position Opening: Operations Manager For Kestrel Land Trust

We’re hiring! Kestrel Land Trust is currently seeking a new addition to our dedicated team.

Kestrel Land Trust, an accredited regional land trust based in Amherst, MA, seeks an experienced administrative professional to serve as Operations Manager.

The Operations Manager will be an integral member of Kestrel’s non-profit team of seven professional staff. Essential functions of this new full-time position will include: financial management, human resources management, oversight of the organization’s operational infrastructure, as well as managing all recordkeeping systems, policies, and procedures in compliance with Land Trust Alliance accreditation standards.

The successful candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated team player who thrives on accomplishing goals, getting results, and improving the organization’s efficiency. Qualifications include a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a non-profit or business and a BA degree or equivalent.

The anticipated start date for this position is January 4, 2021, with several days of preliminary orientation with the outgoing office manager in mid-December. Review of applications will begin in late October with priority given to those received by November 10.
