Position Opening: Office Administrator

We’re hiring! Kestrel Land Trust is currently seeking a new addition to our dedicated team.

Kestrel Land Trust, an accredited regional land trust, seeks a part-time Office Administrator for its headquarters in South Amherst.

The successful candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated team player who loves forests, farmland, and trails and thrives on accomplishing goals, getting results, and improving the organization’s efficiency.

The Office Administrator will be an integral member of Kestrel’s non-profit team of nine staff. Responsibilities include managing incoming calls, welcoming visitors, serving as liaison to IT service provider and facility-related contractors, managing office supply orders, assisting with incoming & outgoing mail, and maintaining office file systems, both digital and print.

Qualifications include strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to manage multiple projects and areas of responsibility, and 2-4 years of related experience in a non-profit or small business plus an Associates or BA degree or equivalent.

The position will require 15-20 hours over three to four days each week with flexibility during 9-5 office hours. The anticipated start date is September 7, 2022. Review of applications will begin immediately with priority given to those received by August 15.
