Peter CurtisPeter is a botanist and Professor Emeritus of Ecology at Ohio State University. His research has focused on the ecological impacts of changing climate, land-use, and biodiversity. Of particular interest has been understanding how aging and old growth forests in north-eastern North America can continue high rates of carbon sequestration. He has served on editorial and scientific advisory boards and chaired the OSU Department of Evolution, Ecology, and Organismal Biology. He is an avid hiker, trail steward, and wild-seed sower. Peter lives in Northampton.
