Luke BeesonLuke became interested in land stewardship during an internship in high school with his local land trust in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Since then, he has worked to gain a variety of skills useful in managing local landscapes. After graduating from the University of Vermont, Luke worked in forestry and most recently as a land steward for Knoll Farm in Vermont. He also served as stewardship intern at the Kennebec Land Trust in Maine. These experiences, as well as years of professional carpentry work, have provided him with a holistic view of land stewardship from recreation and conservation to sustainable resource use. In his free time, Luke loves to explore the Northeast through rock climbing and canoeing or relax with sewing projects and crafts.
