Lee Halasz is serving a third year as Kestrel’s AmeriCorps Regional Conservation Coordinator with the TerraCorps program from September 2018 through July 2019.
Lee grew up in Australia and moved to Pelham in 2012. He has a decade of professional ecological experience working for organizations including a non-profit, a university, and State and Federal Government. With a special interest in birds, he earned a Graduate Certificate in Ornithology. He is enjoying discovering a very different natural environment than what he was accustomed to in Australia, and meeting the people and organizations that know and manage New England lands. He is looking forward to applying his skills, knowledge and experience to benefit his new community.
