Jabbar Muhammad is serving as Kestrel’s AmeriCorps Youth Education Coordinator with the TerraCorps program from September 2022 through July 2023.
Jabbar is from Indian Orchard in Springfield and has lived in Massachusetts for 10 years after growing up in Arizona. He graduated from Framingham State University in 2021 with a B.S. in Biology. He spent four years working with the nonprofit Gardening the Community in Springfield, a farm that focuses on food justice and youth development. Jabbar has a passion for wildlife biology, and hopes to pursue it as a career in the future. He’s excited to be a Terracorps member and looks forward to the opportunities to work with other people in nature.
