Callahan “Callie” Murphy is serving as Kestrel’s AmeriCorps Land Stewardship Coordinator with the TerraCorps program from September 2022 through July 2023.
Callahan is from Longmeadow, proudly born and raised in Western MA. She received a B.S. in Natural Resource Conservation from UMass Amherst this May. She is excited to serve with Kestrel and use her degree to care for our area’s beautiful conserved lands. She wants to get out in the field with Kestrel’s volunteers to give back a portion of what Western MA has given her over the years, which she believes is one of the most underrated places in the country.
