We’re hiring! Kestrel is currently seeking another addition to our dedicated team.

Kestrel Land Trust, an accredited regional land trust based in Amherst, Massachusetts, seeks a full-time Development Manager to join our staff of professionals working to conserve and care for the forests, farms, and riverways of the Connecticut River Valley, and nurture an enduring love of the land.

The Development Manager is a new position created to support Kestrel’s growing land conservation and stewardship programs that are addressing challenges and opportunities in our region.

The successful candidate will be an energetic, well-organized and collaborative team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills who thrives on accomplishing goals and improving the organization’s bottom line. At least three years of demonstrated success fundraising for a non-profit organization is required.

Reporting to and working closely with the Development Director, the Development Manager will prepare and implement annual fundraising plans with a focus on building Kestrel’s membership. Priorities will include preparing mail appeals, expanding the sustaining gift program, coordinating online giving, processing and acknowledging gifts, engaging the support of local businesses, and managing data and files.
