Who’s There? Wildlife Tracks & Signs Winter Walk
February 23, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Our region is full of wildlife but most of the time, it’s difficult to see where the animals are or what they’re doing. In the winter, however, the evidence of animals that hop, stalk, or waddle often becomes easier to see and to interpret.
Join us on Saturday, February 23 from 10 am to Noon to explore the wildlife at the Mineral Hills Conservation Area with naturalist John Body. You’ll learn how to identify the tracks of animals that hop, stalk, or waddle, and see how they interact with the winter world.
Depending on the depth of snow, snowshoes could be helpful as we may be walking off trail.
The Mineral Hills Conservation Area is owned by the City of Northampton, and permanently conserved with assistance from Kestrel Land Trust.
Space is limited to 20 participants and registration is required.
