The Wildflowers of the Mount Holyoke Range
June 4, 2017 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am
Free
On Sunday, June 4, from 9 am – 11 am, join expert botanist and University of Massachusetts Amherst professor Karen Searcy for a fascinating tour of one of her favorite locations for plant life on the Mount Holyoke Range. We’ll take a leisurely loop walk near the Notch Visitor’s Center, where we’ll get to know the local ferns, club moss, and late spring wildflowers, as well as the trees, shrubs and understory vegetation that make up two different forest types in our area. The walk will be mostly level with some moderate slopes and one short, steeper climb.
Please RSVP below: You’ll receive details by email after your initial confirmation email.
This walk is FREE. (Donations are always welcome.)
Limited to 20 participants. Heavy rain cancels.
