This spring, Kestrel is pleased to offer a new way of to improve your mental and physical health in nature. Come experience the revitalizing benefits of T’ai Chi and Qigong—tranquil mind/body practices—amidst the serene surroundings of Kestrel Land Trust’s headquarters with instructor Lynne Nicole Smith.

On Saturday, April 20th, 11:00am – 12:00pm, join us for a down-to-earth experience that promotes well-being with an outdoor mind-body practice that can be a haven for relieving physical, mental, and emotional tension. It seamlessly weaves together the calming essence of yoga with the revitalizing energy of Qigong, providing a transformative experience.

🌬️ The Power of BreathLearn to circulate energy through intentional breathing exercises while gently moving, which helps improve flexibility and joint health as well as alleviate pain.🌳 Inner PeaceCalm your mind and nervous system with exercises that you will be inspired to use beyond the session to reduce anxiety and stress.🌅 The Great OutdoorsEmbrace the season as we connect mind, body, and nature at Kestrel’s headquarters, aligning with the beauty of the Mt. Holyoke Range and Plum Brook Pond.

Newcomers and experienced practitioners alike are welcome to come to one, two, or all three classes. Attendance at all three classes is not required. Registration is per event and will be available as each upcoming class is announced. The one-hour sessions will take place on:
  • Saturday, April 20
  • Saturday, May 18
  • Saturday, June 15

Lynne Nicole Smith, the instructor behind Qigong Infused Yoga™, brings over two decades of experience in teaching T’ai Chi, Qigong, and Yoga. With a genuine love of nature, she advocates practicing outside to emphasize their profound healing benefits. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or a beginner, Lynne’s teachings focus on simple and accessible movements suitable for all.

Registration is required with a sliding-scale donation.
