Mount Holyoke Range Volunteers Needed
May 6, 2018 - July 27, 2018

Are you a hiker, biker, or trail runner? Do you spend a lot of time on the Mount Holyoke Range?
Kestrel Land Trust, the Massachusetts Department of Conservation & Recreation, and Appalachian Mountain Club are partnering to update the trail signs in the Mount Holyoke Range State Park. We are looking for volunteers who are very familiar with the Mount Holyoke Range to ground-truth updated trail sign content. Time commitment involves visiting a designated portion of the trails on your own time, finding the proposed signage location, and assessing the sign content with respect to the actual orientation on the trail. Ideally, volunteers conducting these assessments are frequent visitors of the Range, have good map-reading skills, and are willing to attend a brief training and report their findings. GPS and/or map navigation skills would be helpful.
The work will take place during this spring and summer.
