Landscape Photography Skills Workshop: POSTPONED to Spring 2018
For amateur and experienced photographers looking to hone their nature photography skills and learn from a professional, join Michael for an exclusive two-part workshop. The workshop is designed to help photographers see additional layers of interest in the landscape, imbuing their photographs with more mood, mystery, and surprise. NOTE: Basic photography skills and a real camera (no cell phones) are required for this workshop.
- Part 1: Join Michael for a 3-hour “in the field” supervised photo outing at the Quabbin Reservoir Visitor Center in Belchertown. The early morning provides the opportunity to explore how to use the light to your advantage.
- Part 2: Come back together for a 2-hour positive group “critique” led by Michael at Kestrel Land Trust’s office in Amherst. The group will share and view several examples of each participant’s photographic work at the Quabbin (or elsewhere) to explore how they reflect the photographer’s intention, and how each of these images might be strengthened.
The fee for this two-part workshop is $100 per person, and space is limited to 10 participants. Registration is required: Marilyn@kestreltrust.org.
