Image Critique: A Photography Workshop with Michael Zide
February 9, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Photography can provide a creative way to explore and connect with nature, and tell a story or express our feelings about it. In this special workshop, join professional photographer Michael Zide for an opportunity to share your photographic work within a constructive and positive environment of other photographers. By posing questions and considering elements such as suggestion, metaphor, and narrative, Michael will encourage reflection and feedback while we learn to see our own photographs in a new light.
Participants should bring five of their own photographs and one image by an artist they admire, on any subject they wish, to share during the critique.
Michael Zide is a photography educator and long-standing member of Moab Paper’s “Masters of Photography” program and an “Ambassador” for Manfrotto camera and lighting supports. His photographs are in museum, corporate, and private art collections. See more of his work at michaelzidephotography.com
Workshop fee is $45 per person to be paid to Michael Zide at the workshop. This program will take place at the Kestrel Land Trust office in Amherst.
Space is limited to 12 participants and registration is required.
