Interest in green burial and in our search for a conservation cemetery site in the Valley is growing. During this virtual event, Kestrel’s partner Green Burial Massachusetts will host a showing of a 30-minute video produced by The Conservation Burial Alliance called “Deeply Rooted”. This moving and visually beautiful virtual field trip takes us to notable conservation burial grounds throughout the U.S. It explores the profound connections between conservation land, community, and human burial.

Members of the Conservation Burial Alliance will introduce the video, which will be followed by real-time conversation, along with time for your questions and answers moderated by Green Burial Massachusetts.

This free program takes place on Sunday, February 27 from 4:30 PM – 5:30 pm by Zoom. Registration is required.
