2019 Massachusetts Open Space Conference
April 27, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 3:30 pm

Interested in learning more about local conservation work? On Saturday, April 27, please join us at the fourth, state-wide gathering for municipal open space committees, volunteers, and others involved in the development and implementation of community-based conservation planning and projects.
This conference is an informal opportunity for those interested in protecting open space to gain practical skills, share experiences, build partnerships, and return home with an increased capacity to facilitate successful land conservation projects through town planning, outreach, or stewardship.
The event takes place at the Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner, MA (see map below). It is free of charge, and includes free lunch. Raffle prizes will be awarded as well.
For questions, contact Michael McGrath at (978) 248-2055, ext. 24 or email conservationist_americorps@mountgrace.org
This event is organized by The North Quabbin Regional Landscape Partnership and TerraCorps-AmeriCorps members serving at Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust, North County Land Trust, Sudbury Valley Trustees, Kestrel Land Trust and Berkshire Natural Resources Council. The event is funded by the Umass Extension and the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation.
