2nd Annual 5K For Farmland: Sunday, October 17; 10am
The first annual 5K was a big success! Despite the wet and cold weather, 300 hardy people came out to run or walk through Hadley's historic farming area in the Great Meadow. Valley folks love their farmland. Join us this year for a sunny event (we'll do our best!). Runners and walkers will start and finish on Hadley's West Street Common. Fast, flat, course through scenic farmland. Local food and music after the race.
REGISTER for this year's race online at RunReg or by downloading this form and sending it in with a check made out to The Kestrel Trust. Early Registration is $18 until September 30. $20 after that and on race day. $40 for a family (2 adults and 2 kids). T-Shirts with logo for registrants while supplies last. All proceeds go to The Kestrel Trust to support preservation of local farmland.
A Special Thanks to this year's sponsors Northampton Cooperative Bank and Whole Foods Market; Sugarloaf Mountain Athletic Club for helping organize the race; and the local businesses who are donating prizes for runners in all age groups.
